Lourdes is the most incredible city. It is based on faith, and the story of Bernadette. For Roman Catholics it is a very important place of healing. One must read the fiction called The miracle by Irving Wallace to see the import of this city.
When we were there there was an international military bands festival. Such noise and faith.
